Rehabilitation work at Rondevlei on the Cape Peninsula included revegetation of degraded wetland areas with indigenous fynbos wetland plants. Part of this revegetation work was done in partnership with private land owners.

 

National Wetlands Indaba 2008

The Mpumalanga Wetland Forum is delighted to host the National Wetlands Indaba 2008 in Skukuza in Kruger National Park. This is an annual cross-disciplinary gathering of practitioners involved with the conservation and sustainable utilisation of South Africa’s wetland resources, including scientists, decision-makers, researchers, conservationists and educators hailing from various organisations.
